I had the breakfast quesadillia! It was large and tasted great! My husband asked if they could put blueberries in his pancakes and they accommodated him! The place is extremely clean. The staff is very friendly and personable. The overall experience every time we come has been just as good if not better than the last!!

Excellent customer service! Food was great and the price was right! It seems like the restaurant is a family-owned business and every person we encountered was so kind and helpful. One gentleman dropped off our food, saw that we were taking photos of our little one and asked if we wanted a family photo. He really didn’t have to, but took the time to. Thank you so much, we will stop by again if we’re ever back in Door County!

This was our first breakfast/lunch venue we made it to this past visit to Door County last month and I must say we rather enjoyed it. Not sure if this is the choice for tourists being it's located on the north side of town away from the bay area but I love supporting local especially a business that thrives during the winter. Very good American-Mexican fare at reasonable prices despite everything everywhere going up in price, clean dining room and the owners are down-to-earth friendly people. Our server/hostess/owner was super friendly and spoke with my wife (who's Honduran) in Spanish explaining a little bit of background about themselves and how long they've been in business. I enjoy good ol' home cooking and it's venues like this that I strive to support. We came back the next day to try their homemade Tres Leches cake which was to-die-for. The next time visiting Door County, will definitely be dining in here again and hope for continued success & prosperity for the owners.

Try the omelette. It was great. Sourdough toast was very good, and you can’t go wrong with bacon and hashbrowns!

Absolutely one of our most favorite experiences in Door County! We wanted Mexican food & stopped for lunch after reading their reviews. Sturgeon Bay is so lucky to have authentic Mexican food for a reasonable price. The owner/server Christina was absolutely wonderful! We started with their homemade guacamole & chips which was so delicious Then our lunch order arrived. I had a grilled chicken quesadilla & my husband had a chorizo burrito. Both lunches were outstanding. Christina visited with us about their restaurant & family. It was so nice to have someone that was so friendly & cared about her customers. We wish the Sunrise Cafe all the best as they continue to bring a great eating experience to Sturgeon Bay

The food here is SO good and this place has got to be the cleanest restaurant in Door County! It’s spotless and smells like fresh food and clean floors when you walk in. The guys up at the front are very friendly too! Great place for breakfast and lunch and if they’re ever open for dinner service we’ll be there for that too!

We had the chance to try their tamales and tacos, and everything was absolutely delicious! The flavors were authentic and perfectly seasoned—truly a treat. On top of the amazing food, the service was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving great Mexican food and a warm dining experience!

I recently visited the Sunrise Restaurant at 1463 Egg Harbor Rd, in Sturgeon Bay, WI. This is a nice place for breakfast. I sat at the counter and was quickly greeted and my beverage order taken. I got my coffee as I looked over the menu. I decided on the blueberry pancakes. They were served promptly. The pancakes were good.
